Acceptable Use Policy
This policy applies to every organisation and person using Airotor Live. Breaking it can lead to immediate suspension (see the Terms & Conditions).
You must
- Tell every worker, visitor and contractor who may be filmed what is filmed, why, and who can watch, before filming starts. Put up clear signage at monitored sites.
- Use cameras only for workplace safety, supervision, training and operations at work sites, during work.
- Let a helmet camera's wearer know it is on, and switch it off or remove it at the end of the shift and during breaks.
- Give dashboard access only to people who need it, and remove it as soon as they no longer do.
- Report suspected misuse or security problems to [set SUPPORT_EMAIL] without delay.
You must not
- Film covertly, or film anyone without the notice described above.
- Point or carry cameras into toilets, washrooms, changing rooms, rest or sleeping areas, medical rooms, places of worship, or anyone's home.
- Film children, or use the service to monitor anyone outside work.
- Use video to harass, discriminate against, or single out workers for reasons unrelated to safety or work, or to monitor lawful union activity.
- Screen-record, download, publish or share live video outside your organisation without a lawful reason and the notice the law requires.
- Share passwords or stream keys, use another person's account, or resell access.
- Try to view another organisation's cameras, guess stream keys or tokens, scan or load-test the service, or get around any security control.
- Stream unlawful, obscene or infringing content, or content unrelated to your work.
Helmet camera safety
- Never drill or cut a safety helmet. Use clip-on or adhesive mounts approved for that helmet.
- The camera and cables must not block vision, hearing or movement, or snag on machinery.
- Use protected lithium cells only, keep the electronics off the scalp, and take a unit out of service if it is hot, swollen or damaged.
Enforcement
We may investigate suspected breaches using our audit logs, suspend accounts or cameras, and report unlawful activity to the authorities.
